ZURICH ROCK ‘N’ ROLL RUNNING SERIES MADRID.

The Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid took place on 23rd April and ran through the most emblematic streets of Madrid. Of the 34,000 registered participants, a total of 28,828 runners reached the finish line at Paseo de Recoletos, a great success in terms of participation. The most outstanding time was achieved in the 21 kilometres, where the Kenyan Victor Kipruto Togom was only four seconds away from going under the hour and set a new half marathon record for this event with 1h03:03, while in the marathon the victory went to Uganda in both the men’s and women’s races.

TELEMADRID broadcast the 46th edition of the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid 2023. VIRTUALIA, as in previous editions, was responsible for showing the evolution of the different races that were held with a renewed and innovative graphics that allowed to follow and show partial results and statistics of the Half Marathon, the marathon and even the results of the 10K despite the fact that the first runners in this category arrived before the TELEMADRID broadcast started.
