On 23 April, the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid took place in the most emblematic streets of Madrid. Of the 34,000 registered, a total of 28,828 runners reached the finish line at Paseo de Recoletos, a great success in terms of participation. The most outstanding time was achieved in the 21 kilometres, where the Kenyan Victor Kipruto Togom was only four seconds away from breaking the hour mark and set a new half marathon record for this event in 1h03:03, while in the marathon Uganda won in both the men’s and women’s races.
TELEMADRID broadcast the 46th edition of the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid 2023. VIRTUALIA, as in previous editions, was responsible for showing the evolution of the different races that were held with a renewed and innovative graphics that allowed to follow and show partial results and statistics of the Half Marathon, the Marathon and even the results of the 10K race despite the fact that the first runners in this category arrived before TELEMADRID started broadcasting.
