Sharma Climbing Gavà hosted the second edition of the SHARMA SERIES on March 18th. Two competitive disciplines; bouldering and speed brought together the best male and female climbers on the national scene and a good number of international athletes. Chris Sharma, founder of Sharma Climbing, is once again bringing high level competitions and competitors to Spain.
RTVE broadcast the competition live on its Teledeporte channel and once again relied on the experience and graphics of VIRTUALIA to show the evolution of the athletes, in real time, during the events. VIRTUALIA has extensive experience in sports signage and, specifically in climbing, during 2022, it has signposted for RTVE the three events of the Spanish Cup and Championship of BOULDER and SPEED, the first edition of the SHARMA SERIES in Gavá and Madrid and the IFSC BOULDER & LEAD TEST EVENT in Barcelona, during which the scoring system for the climbing events of the Paris 2025 Olympics was put to the test.
